When I was in college, my father's pharmaceutical business collapsed. A professional accountant — my friend's father — reviewed the financials and quickly identified the problem: sales had stalled while cash was locked in expiring inventory. The diagnosis was correct. But the insight arrived too late to act on. The business folded. My family endured years of hardship.
What struck me most wasn't the failure itself. It was that a single accountant, armed with the right knowledge and engaged at the right moment, could have changed everything. My father and his partners were technically capable people who simply never thought to seek financial counsel in time. They didn't know what an accountant could truly do for them.

That realization became the purpose behind everything I've built. Not because I planned it that way — but because I knew, from a deeply personal place, that accountants who truly understand their own influence can change outcomes that matter.
Most people — and many accountants themselves — still see the profession through a compliance lens: financial statements, tax returns, regulatory filings. The accounting profession has reinforced that perception for decades. But I have spent my entire career working to change it. Accountants are influencers. Not metaphorically. Commercially. Strategically. In ways that directly determine whether businesses survive or thrive.
